Water Temperature:  Continues to be typical range for this time of year

 

Air Temperature: Light breezes in the PM.   

 

Fishing Spots and Distance: Most of the action was up to the North beyond Punta Pescadero about 19 miles, inshore the best action was in front of the Lighthouse.

 

Off-shore Fishing: The best action was toward the north with billfish providing the most consistent action. Very few tuna and dorado this week but there were several of the giant Humboldt squid landed.

 

In-shore Fishing: The few that targeted the inshore found the best action in front of the Lighthouse.

 

Bait Used: Mackerel and Caballito were all that could be found this week. Once again the sardina were among the missing.  

 

Highlight of the Week:  Billfish including blues, stripes and sailfish provided the best action. The squid caught this week provided some great munchies during cocktail hour.
