Water Temperature: The water temperature remains in the low 80's.  We should start to see a very slight decrease in the water temperature with in the next few weeks.  The captains are reporting that they have encountered small pockets of slightly cooler water during this past week.  They report these pockets seem to random but if found the fishing has produced.

Weather Temperature:  The weather continues to be quite nice for this time of year with the day time highs in the high eighties and low nineties.  The afternoons continue to be filled with lots of sun and fair to moderate breeze's from the south keeping the afternoon temps. quite bareable.

Fishing Spots and Distance:  The spots and distance the boats are traveling have varied this week.  the captains have reported fishing both to the north and the south.  They report the fishing taking place to the south to be off the Cabo Pulmo to Los Friles area.  To the north the fishing has been reported to be  off the Punta Pescadero  area.

Off-shore fishing.-   The off shore fishing this week has picked up.  The captains are reporting  some very nice Dorado  under the Buoys off the Punta Pescadero area.  They are also reporting marlin activity in the same area.  The Tuna have been reported out about the twenty five mile mark off the shores of La Ribera.

In-shore fishing.- The inshore fishing has been productive this week.  The areas south of the light house have seen good numbers of trigger fish and snapper.

Successful lures:  The colors that the captains are reporting are pink and black along with orange and yellow.  Hoochies have been successful in catching dorado this week  and the colors reported are pink and blue.

Bait Used: The bait this week has been for the most part Sardina. Frozen Ballyhoo also has been reported to be taking some very large Dorado under buoys.
