Water
Temperature: Water
temperature drop just a bit, but it sure bounced back to our normal summer
temperatures.
Weather
Temperature: Before the
storm the weather normally goes up, and this time, it wasn't the
exception, with the rain and everything for the next two days, it cooled
off, but it came back to the 90's once the storm has gone through.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Even
though it was a strong storm the water has gotten clear quite fast
and Jesus Araiza reported blue water only 13 miles out of the
hotel. This is a great sign that everything is going to come back
to normal very fast, and it shows in our fishing numbers.
Off-shore fishing.-
Off
shore fishing was great before the storm, and it was even
better afterward, as soon as we started fishing on Wednesday
boats were reporting lots of Sails strikes and Jesus found
tuna about 20 miles south of the resort, from there the tuna
bite has turn on quite well. Also Alejandro on the Hakuna
said to lost a very good wahoo. Also a great sign as
October is normally the best month for wahoo.
In-shore
fishing.-
In shore water is still to turn up, but the conditions are
great and it should start getting hotter by the minute. .
Successful
lures:
Like the rancher turn fisherman, back in the old days, when the
fishing is this good, anything works.
Bait
Used: Bait conditions are limited as the
pangueros are starting to get back in the ocean, but it was getting a lot
better by the time of this report.
Highlight of

week the report are that there are two things you are not going to be
missing in the East Cape this coming days. TUNA AND SAILFISH. Also blue
