Water
Temperature: The
water has been a few degrees warmer than in past years.
This contributes to the few marlin and dorado that have been
caught.
Weather
Temperature:
It has continue to be a nice weather, even though we
are suppose to have strong winds from the north they
have been fairly quite.
Fishing Spots and Distance:
Most has taken place to the
North off the Punta Pescedero area. The ride has been
around a half an hour..
Off-shore fishing.
The fishing has been
rather steady for Dorado off the Punta Pescedero Area.
The few marlin that are mixed in are add lots of
excitement with the hopes seeing that bill slashing at the
teaser.
In-shore
fishing.-
Even with the cold currents, in-shore fishing
continue to offer decent fishing, but not many boats targeting
these species.
Successful
lures:
Mean joe green and
petrolero above all..
Bait
Used: Plenty,
but continues to be mostly in-shore species, mullet,
sardine, small jacks, etc.
Highlight of
the Week: The
highest average per boat/catch for bill fish in the whole
year. The dorados, quality not quantity.
