PHOTO GALLERY AND FISHING AND CONDITION REPORT   WEEK: JUNE 1ST WEEK.
Here is a nice picture taken one beautiful morning last week by Angel of  a few of the boy's in the morning enjoying each others company and a quiet moment as the sun rises and the hotel guests eat breakfast.
This is Gary and Glenn Mouritzen from San Diego California showing off one of the two stripe marlin they caught while fishing aboard Vanessa.  The other Marlin was released.

Here is Duane and John Slater along with Russ and Rusty Mcknight from Tempe Arizona filling the crates at the dock with the two Dorado and thirty seven Tuna they caught aboard the Marina during this day's fishing.

Jindo found three Marlin and one Dorado on this day. Here is a photo of the nice Dorado mentioned above.
A perfect morning to do a little surf casting before heading out on the boat. Marina is the newest 31' boat in the fleet.  Is this not a beautiful boat?

This is Margaret Vanderburg getting a little help form the boys holding  the huge Dorado of 49lbs. She caught while fishing on Nueva Era. They just keep coming.  This is Aaron Abbott  from Huntington Beach California with a Dorado of 48lbs.  He also released one Stripe Marlin on this day fishing aboard Vagabundo.
This is John Henderson from Harbor City California showing two of the ten tuna he caught while fishing aboard Vagabundo.  Not only did John get Tuna but he also caught two Dorado on this day as well. This is Steve Macri and Chad Clark from Philadelphia Pa.  They had a great day on the boat Careleste.  They caught a dozen Tuna.

We guess you could say the Tuna are in. Won't you come join in our fun?

Water Temperature: The water temperature is PERFECT!!!!  It has been at the eighty or eighty one mark this week.  This is a great temperature.  These temperatures hold lot's of life in them and with this life comes the fishing.  We are glad to see it has risen very slightly this week.  This slight increase has helped tremendously.

Weather Temperature:  The Temperature has been very warm for most with the highs during the day reaching the lower 90's.  This is just the beginning of the heat but if the fishing stays like this most won't even notice.

Fishing Spots and Distance:  The fishing is scattered with boats reporting great fishing both South of the hotel as well as to the North.  We have had lots of activity this week in both directions.

Off-shore fishing.- The fishing off shore this week has rebounded from last week with a bang!!  The Tuna are being caught where their are Porpoise. We also  have had great numbers of Tuna schools out in the open water that have produced great numbers and nice size averaging twenty to thirty pounds and their is not a Porpoise in sight.  They seem to be everywhere!!  The Marlin have been anywhere from two miles off shore to as many as thirty.  We had a great bite very close to shore this past week just three miles off shore from La Ribera to the light house.

In-shore fishing.- With the water warming slightly the inshore has picked up with great results.  The big Rooster fish are showing them selves a little more with the Mullet schools that have been in close to shore.  The Jack 's and Lady Fish have been picking up along with the bottom fish such as Pargo and Cabrilla.

Successful lures: We have seen a variety of lures being successful this week.  The Tuna have been going crazy for the ceader plugs or hoochies in squid colors such as pink, purple or red.  The Marlin and Dorado and Wahoo have been caught on a number of different colors this week with a few of them being pink and black, green and black, white and blue and yellow and orange.

Bait Used: Bait has been Caballito and Mullet.  The bait pangas have had a hard time finding both the Mackral or the Sardina.

Highlight of the Week:  The Tuna are back !!  The water is warm and the fishing is great. We have even seen a few big Blue Marlin!!   We would like to mention that the new flight from Ontario, CA will be starting early next month, to see more  Click here!!!!

See you next week!!!
