PHOTO GALLERY AND FISHING AND CONDITION REPORT   WEEK: AUGUST 3RD WEEK.
Mr. David Mandich, while fishing with Chuy on the Hakuna catch and released two dorados and 2 tunas. Mr. Mandich was visiting us to make a story for an important magazine.
Mr. Son Solmonson on his first visit, he was convinced by our frined Mr. Larson and Artus who came down to put to the test their fly fishing techniques. Also in this group Mr. Jackson from Houston, TX. Here Mr. Solomnson with a nice 40 lbs roosterfish which didn't make it. Also caught were 2 dorados and 7 Tunas, not bad for fly-fishing. They fished on Super pangas.
Greg Coggins who is great friend of our own massage therapist Margie Enos, visited us from Oregon, here with a 1 of 4 dorados and 10 tunas they caught with their fishing day on the Hakuna.
Mr. Jeff Peck and son here with a few dorados (6) and tunas (6( while fishing with Ramon on the 3 Hermanos. This is their annual trip to our resort.
Mr. Greg Magill family fishing with Marcos on the Liliana caguth a few dorados, 13 tunas, pargos and some bonitas all n front of La Rivera's fisheries.

Water Temperature:  Our water continues to offer one of the best temperature yet. 

Weather Temperature:  Even though we are in the middle of the summer, our weather has been very nice, of course you feel like it is above the 100's, but with the nice breeze and the the some clouds the weather has been in the high 90's.

Fishing Spots and Distance: What you want to catch as always will determined where you go. Since the fishing for big tuna continues to be far, for small tuna right in front of La Rivera, and Dorado close to the light house or up North to El Cardonal, marlin and sails just about everywhere.

Off-shore fishing.- If you don't mind getting a lot of fish but not big, this is the time to come, our fleet continues to find a steady bite of tuna and dorado, among other fish.

In-shore fishing.- Roosters up to 40 lbs, not many, but all it takes is a little patience. Bottom fishing, you just need to let us know, and we will find it.

Successful lures: We continue to work with about the same color, but we are working with smaller lures for the small dorado.

Bait Used: Mackerel, caballito and sardines .

Highlight of the Week: The mall tuna came in to La Rivera fisheries. Good size dorado and rooster. Good chances of a sail on a spinning reel or on the fly.
