PHOTO GALLERY AND FISHING AND CONDITION REPORT   WEEK: NOVEMBER 2ND WEEK.

Our friends from the State of Tamaulipas and Nuevo León visited last weekend for a few days of fishing, and they caught so much fish and so many species, that it seemed like it was rigth in the middle of September.  They 2 blues, 7 stripers, 14 sails, dorados, tuna, wahoo, etc, etc, all of species, they caught them all (figurely speaking). It was nice to have them again. Some of them came back in the years when my dad was starting, some of them as young as Mariano on the above picture, and this time they brought their dads and even invited them some beers. Thank you again for keeping us in mind.

Gene Max Boyer from Redondo Beach California fished with Ramon on the 3 Hermanos for a few days. He caught several dorado on this day. He was forced to cancel last year, but he was sure to make this year and it went well fishing wise The Wall family from San Diego on a weekend getaway fished on the Vanessa. What fishing day!!!, 14 dorados (6 released), 5 tunas and 7 bonitas.  Are we in the off season yet?

Water Temperature:  Water was found below the 80's mark, this is the first time since early in the year. Still there are some areas where water condition still holds up.

Air Temperature:  Last weekend was really nice with nice calm days, even though the wind started on Monday an carry on to Thursday, we had several boats going out the whole week with excellent catching days.

Fishing Spots and Distance: It seems that the fishing has come closer to the area, as our boats are fishing from Punta Arena to El Cardonal up North. Distance vary from 15 to 30 miles, which makes it a very easy cruise.

Off-shore Fishing: Some late blues this past week, one up to 345 lbs. A good number of stripers, sails and dorados, and how about those nice tunas as well. Can you ask for anything else, life is beautiful!

In-shore Fishing: There has not been much inshore fishing from our fleet, still the reports are that the pargo and jacks are going strong down South by La Rivera.

Successful Lures:  Arturo reported that petrolero was working very well, still when fishing is good all of them work.

Bait Used: Pangueros are still getting sardines, mackerel and caballitos, you need to find the guys, but they are around.

Highlight of the Week:  A late bite this past week, it seemed as it was right the middle of the summer with a very mix bag catch. Nice blues, stripers, sails, dorado, tuna etc. Can somebody tell me why we call it our off season, when fishing continues to be so good?? o right the wind...

See you next week!!!
