PHOTO GALLERY AND FISHING AND CONDITION REPORT   WEEK: OCTOBER 1ST WEEK.
Mrs. and Mr. Mcknew who were guest of our friends Linda and Drexell Pruitt from New Mexico are loyal guests of (and with a good reason) of Vicente on the Dusty B III they fished for 5 days, catching petty much everything: Sails, tunas (up to 113 lbs), marlin, dorados, roosters, you name it, they caught it.
East Cape and Buena Vista Beach Resort is not only about catching, Cabo Pulmo Marine Park is the only Coral Reef alive in the Sea of CortÚs, and a beautiful site to visit, even if you are not a diver, just the snorkel tour is great. Here Mr. Shrehemhumeker (I hope I got right). Mrs. Marilyn and Mr. Pete Heffner from the great State of Texas, Corpus Christi. They fished with Chayo on the Nueva Era. Nice day a few dorados and some white bonitos
John Baricuatro and son and Fernando Revelez with their first Blue. We say that is ethical to catch your first billfish, but you release the rest. I hope we could apply this to other species as well.
Here Ramon and Teodoro with a nice day fishing. Flagas have evolved as well, I can still remember when our fleet's flags were just a piece of old cloth.

Water Temperature:  Water temperature continues to be nice and steady in the mid 80's.

Weather Temperature:  It may feel like it is more, but we rarely get to the 100's, and now that September is back, weather should be starting to go down.

Fishing Spots and Distance: Nice summer conditions, I mean fishing is close like a good summer, still we had some boats going a little further to find the big tuna. Boats are running normally South to La Rivera.

Off-shore fishing.- Good combination of tuna and dorado for all the boats, not on big numbers, but you won't come back without a fish. Stripers seemed as they never really left, and sails seems that they are here to stay for a long time. Some blues as well, but not that many.

In-shore fishing.- Some rooster fishing going on, but not much. Still going in-shore is sure to produce a very active day.

Successful lures: Mean joe green and petrolero above all..

Bait Used: Yes, even some mackerel are being sold by the pangueros, which is rare for this late in the summer. There are plenty of Sardines as well.

Highlight of the Week: There not may many, and you have to really go looking for them, but once found you are sure for some good size tuna.
