Water Temperature: Water
temperature continues to be nice and steady in the mid
80's.
Weather Temperature:
It may feel like it is more, but we rarely get to the
100's, and now that September is back, weather should be
starting to go down.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Nice
summer conditions, I mean fishing is close like a good summer,
still we had some boats going a little further to find the big
tuna. Boats are running normally South to La Rivera.
Off-shore fishing.-
Good combination
of tuna and dorado for all the boats, not on big numbers,
but you won't come back without a fish. Stripers seemed as
they never really left, and sails seems that they are here
to stay for a long time. Some blues as well, but not that
many.
In-shore fishing.-
Some rooster fishing going on, but not much. Still going
in-shore is sure to produce a very active day.
Successful lures: Mean joe green and petrolero
above all..
Bait Used: Yes,
even some mackerel are being sold by the pangueros, which
is rare for this late in the summer. There are plenty of
Sardines as well.
Highlight of the Week: There
not may many, and you have to really go looking for them,
but once found you are sure for some good size tuna.
