PHOTO GALLERY AND FISHING AND CONDITION REPORT   WEEK: OCTOBER 2ND WEEK.

Mr. Bodo Meschkat, Bob Angelo and Mr. Togo Hazard fished the tournament with Vicente, Bodo caught this nice blue that weighted in to 310 lbs. Here Mr. Togo didn't hesitate to take a nice picture with the Tecate girls. 
Mr. Martin Schneider, son and daughters they fished on the Marina with Cristian and Olegario as well as his friend and son, also fished on the Marina, this was their first visit.  
Our long time friend (more than 14 years) Ray Johnson likes to fish out of a Super Panga, with non-other than Mr. Juan Garcia. It was very nice seeing him again. Here in of his fishing days with a few dorados.   Nice dorado bite this past week, this one of the biggest dorados of the week, a nice 44 pounder

This week we hosted our 8th Annual Chuy's Catch and Release Tournament. As always it was a lot of fun and once again Ladies rule the tournament. Please see our whole story in our October newsletter.

Water Temperature:  That is why I like October so much, the water still nice and warm, but our weather is starting cool down a little. Great water temperature.

Weather Temperature:  It going down, little by little we are starting to get the nice fall weather temperature. It is still humid, but it is getting nicer.  

Fishing Spots and Distance:  Fishing continues to be close, our fleet is averaging about 30 to 45 minutes to the fishing grounds. You can also fish right in front of the hotel for roosters if you would like.   

Off-shore fishing.- With our tournament going on last weekend the species targeted were the ones that will give you most points, therefore the number of billfish caught increased this past week. Still there were some nice dorados caught and tuna as well.

In-shore fishing.- In-shore fishing has been really good, but most of the action concentrated off-shore, still you can come back and fish off the dock for roosters, jacks and lady fish. The kids that help around are doing that everyday.

Successful lures: All the Baja color are working, good fishing = all lures are good.

Bait Used: It was ok week for bait, with sardine and mackerel

Highlight of the Week: Our friend Mr. Bodo Meschkat with a nice 310 blue, his first.
