Water
Temperature: That
is why I like October so much, the water still nice and
warm, but our weather is starting cool down a little.
Great water temperature.
Weather
Temperature:
It going down, little by little we are starting to get
the nice fall weather temperature. It is still humid, but
it is getting nicer.
Fishing Spots and Distance:
Fishing continues to be close, our fleet is averaging about 30 to
45 minutes to the fishing grounds. You can also fish right in
front of the hotel for roosters if you would like.
Off-shore fishing.-
With our tournament
going on last weekend the species targeted were the ones
that will give you most points, therefore the number of
billfish caught increased this past week. Still there were
some nice dorados caught and tuna as well.
In-shore fishing.-
In-shore fishing has
been really good, but most of the action concentrated
off-shore, still you can come back and fish off the dock
for roosters, jacks and lady fish. The kids that help
around are doing that everyday.
Successful
lures:
All the Baja color are working, good fishing = all lures
are good.
Bait
Used: It was
ok week for bait, with sardine and mackerel
Highlight of
the Week: Our
friend Mr. Bodo Meschkat with a nice 310 blue, his first.
