Air Temperature: Temperature
raised to almost 100 this past week, but humidity made
it feel like it was more. Still what many of our
neighbors thought to be a storm, it actually was just a
few clouds, and nothing happen. We think this is the
last of the storm season, we truly hope so.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Most
of the fishing this past week, was done down South, from
La Rivera (5 miles) all the way to Las Destiladeras (30
miles).
Off-shore Fishing:
Billfish and tuna is what is dominating most of the
action. Dorado continues to be rare around here.
In-shore
Fishing: Nice roosters last week, one we think
it was up to 80 lbs (it was released), bottom fishing
for squid continues to be big early in the morning to
later use it as caught bait for tuna.
Bait Used: Not much change here as we
continue to hae mackerel and
some caballito still, but most of everyone is using
squid as caught bait.
Highlight of the
Week: Not many blacks this year and we had one
this week, also a nice 50 lbs dorado and wahoo where
caught.
See you next week!!!
