Air
Temperature:
Even with some days
getting up to the high 90's, most of the week was in the low to mid 90's with
some breeze during the day, which made for a very nice hot week.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Our
fishing distance has not change much, our fleet will spread all
over our beautiful bay, some days going as far as the Meganos
Blancos (38 miles aprox.) to way North to the 88 bank (36
miles), but you can as easily stay closer in and find about
everything, as they did right in front of La Rivera on
Wednesday.
Off-shore Fishing:
Stripers continue to be seeing as they haven't been seen in a long while, but
this is fishing, therefore you can only get a few to get interested. Well,
just check the numbers of them being caught and released, you can figure out
that there are a lot of them around. Tuna finally is being caught almost daily,
some days going quite far to reach them, but others very close, again is all
about luck. Dorado there are just a few around.
In-shore Fishing:
We love
in-shore fishing, quantity, quality and challenging if well managed. Roosters up
to 40 lbs, and great pargo fishing, among other great things. Once again the
most consistent fishing of all.
Bait Used: Bait
situation this past week continues to be about the same way that it has the
whole Spring, but good thing we have ballyhoo as it is being use a lot. Early in
the week, we had some boats going up the Cerralvo Island to get some sardine,
but that was just for a couple of days, then you didn't know for sure if you
were going to get any.
Highlight of the Week: Great fishing, I
mean fishing, you can do a lot of fishing one day, and have
a harder time the next, but you are sure to have some
action, not meaning that you for sure going to catch a lot.
See you next
week!!!
