Water Temperature:  Once the Northeast wind quit showing, our ocean continues to go up. This week water was reported as high as 78, which is now coming to a normal for early May, still we may want to see a little more.

Air Temperature:  Yes, we continue to have, therefore to love our weather.  It is the best.

Fishing Spots and Distance: It was until the middle of the week, but when it started it blew right open. The name of the game this week was "Las Destiladeras" about 10  miles South from Los Frailes.

Off-shore Fishing: Stripers, stripers, stripers for those coming as far as Florida as the Miami Rod and Reel Club, it was all about fishing for Marlin. Still 3 wahoos in the same week, and 2 by the same boat, it means that they are around and those taking the time to fish for them, they very likely will get rewarded.

In-shore Fishing: Arturo reported that even if not many boats were out fishing our in-shore, it doesn't mean that they are not around, as there were many fish seen all over from El Surgidero to the light house. Don't forget to bring your 10-15 lbs test outfit.

Bait Used: Mackerel plenty of it, but this week we needed more fish.

Highlight of the Week:  Marlin blew right open and Mr. Hazard on his birthday was able to get just 8 stripers, but he wasn't happy as he ran out of bait, he didn't get plenty. This is to show that even to the best and most experienced fisherman some minor mistake can hurt their fishing, do you agree?

See you next week!!!
