***Fishing numbers do not reflect Bisbee
tournament catches.
Water
Temperature: Our ocean couldn't be any better with
temperature getting up to 87 degrees, beautiful-peaceful
normal for this time of the year.
Air Temperature: We
continue to have warm weather, still is rare that we go
over 105, but humidity make it feel like it is more.
Fishing Spots and Distance: fishing
for stripers and sails from La Rivera to Los Frailes.
Fishing for tuna either all the way to Las Destiladeras
or right in front of La Rivera, also catching nice
pargos in the same area. Dorado mostly the same as the
stripers.
Off-shore Fishing: Decent, you can catch just
about everything.
In-shore
Fishing: Almost everything was off-shore fishing
this past week, but those guests who did fish the
in-shore found plenty of action on many species.
Bait Used: Mostly caballito some mackerel
too, but captains are preferring the ballyhoo.
Highlight of the
Week: the consistency that we have had in both
stripers and tuna.
See you next week!!!
