Water Temperature:  It continues to be cold, with the wind almost the whole week is hard to find warmer water.

 

Air Temperature: I think the nice weather that we had in January is catching up  to us, as we had 6 days of wind in arrow. It calmed down until Thursday. But Friday and Saturday of this new week were very nice.  

 

Fishing Spots and Distance: We were limited to going North, about 15-20 miles because of the wind, but even though we had a good number of guests at the resort, they weren't too interested in fishing, good thing. Mr. Togo was here and he fished every day, but not with nice weather as he is used to.

 

Off-shore Fishing: We continue to find dorados almost every day. Not many and they are almost small to middle size ones. Stripers are making their way up the Sea of Cortés.

 

In-shore Fishing: Remember when I said that in-shore fishing is the most consistent fishery of ours, well the winter is the only time that this is not true, with the wind that we had, in-shore fishing was not good, except for some sierra, and as you can see it was not much this year.

 

Bait Used: Mackerel 

 

Highlight of the Week: Hard pounding wind for the entire week, except for Thursday. Esaul told me that they went out on the Dotty B II and they hardly got wet inside the cabin, everyone was there.
