Water
Temperature: With our consistent cold front, our ocean
also was affected and the temperature were quite cold
this past week.
Air Temperature: We had a
few beautiful days early in the week, but when the wind
started on Sunday it never calm down until Thursday
evening, to have another great start of the report week.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Early
in the week with the nice calm ocean our fleet was
mostly heading South about 25 to 30 miles. When we went
out during the week we were mostly going North. Except
Vicente on the new boat who took Anita Hazard's party
South, and once the wind started, it took them 3 hours
to come back.
Off-shore Fishing:
Mostly some dorado and tuna, the stripers kind staid out
from the Sea of Cortés, but
they should be coming in petty soon.
In-shore
Fishing: When it started to get nice, the wind
blew again and not much happened after it. But the
sierra is one thing that keeps biting.
Bait Used: Mackerel
Highlight of the
Week: Besides some good days for dorado and tuna
at the begining of the week, this was another typical
windy week of our almost gone winter.
See you next week!!!
