Water
Temperature: You
can find beautiful strong blue color water almost
everywhere, but we have yet to get to 80' degrees water,
still is coming.
Air Temperature: One of the
most amazing weeks so far, with great nice warm weather.
Definitely the best weather, specially as it starts to
get warm, but it cools down during the evening.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Most
of our fleet started going South early in the week, but
since bait and therefore fish started moving North by
the end of the week most of our fleet was going North.
Off-shore Fishing:
Most of the action this week was for stripers, we had a
wonderful days with some days averaging up to 3 per
boat. Mid week things kind went a little slower, but
they came back to close the week quite strong. Tuna and
dorado were around but not in big numbers as they were
scattered all over our ocean.
In-shore
Fishing: It continues to be great again, again
inshore fishing continues to offer a good variety and
excellent quality.
Bait Used: There are a lot of bait
out there everywhere, but the pangueros are having a
hard time getting it, they have been bringing mackerel
and sardine, but it is limited.
Highlight of the
Week: The Spring Striped marlin run has been
very productive and the first nice rooster of the year.
See you next week!!!
