Water
Temperature: Water
conditions didn't change much this past week, but
something happened that brought the striper closer by
the end of the week.
Air Temperature: Another
beautiful week, among the best in the whole year. We can
now start feeling that the warm weather is around the
corner, as we reach the 90's some of the days.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Early
in the week, most of the fishing concentrated up North
and quite far, as the billfish bite was past the 88 bank. But
fished moved in closer as the week progressed and we had
boats running 10 miles to start fishing.
Off-shore Fishing:
Stripers and sails were the hot item this week as they
were quite consistent through out the whole week. Dorado
and tunas were scattered all over our bay and they did
bite.
In-shore
Fishing: Quality and quantity is what we had
this past week.
Bait Used: Bait situation this week was
better this week, but can't called it good, as we wish
we had a little more bait.
Highlight of the
Week: If striped marlin is what you want this is
the time to come down. Sails are moving in, and blues
should not be far back.
See you next week!!!
