Water
Temperature: With two
days of rain our ocean water cool down a little this
week.
Air Temperature: Our week
started very nice, but our friend Paul was here during
the week until Thursday, temperature were very nice, but
rainy.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Early
in the week our fleet was making the extra effort to go
where the fish was, which as a long wise down to almost
San Jose, very long boat ride. Others decided to try
closer and it for some it was worth it, as they found
several tuna in front of Cabo Pulmo.
Off-shore Fishing: It was mostly South,
but distance vary from 5 miles, in front of La Rivera to
55 miles, all the way to La Playita.
In-shore
Fishing: It was a great option this past week
for those that weren't looking for big fish, but for a
lot of action, we had days with boats averaging almost
50 fish per day: Roosters, sierras, pampanos, pargos
etc.... Then Paul came and stir up our water and no more
inshore fishing.
Bait Used: Sardine and Mackerel, rainy
days limited bait.
Highlight of the
Week: Yes, you see correct, we had a wonderful
week of sierra, it was incredible, but more incredible
was the fact that they caught in October.
See you next week!!!
