Water
Temperature: Excellent
water condition, we are in full board on our common
summer water, with areas reaching the mid 80's easily.
Air Temperature: We reached
the 99 degree mark, but we are yet to reach the 100's
mark. Still the breeze during the day makes it feel very
nice.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Our
fleet was going a little further than last week, as Cabo
Pulmo bite slow down a little. They were going out from
La Rivera to Los Frailes.
Off-shore Fishing:
Blues and sails are in, there more than three hits this
past week. Stripers continue to honor the quote that we
are the best place in the world to catch a striped
marlin. Dorado and tuna slow down a little, but those
that were lucky caught some nice ones.
In-shore
Fishing: It was better than last week, but it
still a little slower than it was a couple of weeks ago.
Bait Used: Sardine, caballitos and always
good to bring some ballyhoo, no problem here again.
Highlight of the
Week: Derek, Mr. Togo Gradson, fought an
estimated 150 lbs swordfish for three and half hours on
30 lbs line, he lost it 6 feet from the leader. Still it
was very exciting.
See you next week!!!
