Water
Temperature: Water
condition remain what we consider cold, but we are sure
that we will start seeing an increase on temperatures as
we get closer to the hotter months.
Air Temperature: It was a
nice Eastern Week weekend, with nice temperature there
after. There is a believe that the last North wind
accompany Eastern week, we sure hope so.
Fishing Spots and Distance: It
is nice when you only need to go a few miles to be in
fishing, this is how it is right now, with fish coming
in as close to 14 miles.
Off-shore Fishing:
Very good striped
marlin, oh yes, and with a few sails in the mix. Dorado
mostly loners cruising on top, and some tuna down below.
In-shore
Fishing: A lot of fly fishing being done at the
resort, but lack of sardine has made them focus on
off-shore more than inshore, but it has proven a wise
decision as they have had very good luck.
Bait Used: Mackerel, and you have to
go up North for sardine.
Highlight of the
Week: The first big run of stripers started late
this week, but you will see the numbers for next week.
See you next week!!!
