Water Temperature: The water is in its prime time, calm, but a little breeze, hot, but not too hot, it is our Summer no question about it.

 

Air Temperature: if you are standing outside with no shade you will burn. But there is a reason the locals always look for the shade, if you are under one you are ok as the breeze cools our days.

 

Fishing Spots and Distance: Some boats venture down to Los Meganos Blancos, arrollo de la Vinorma, and that is long. Most of our fleet stayed close and had about the same results.

 

Off-shore Fishing: Good size tuna up 60 lbs in the pescaderos of La Rivera, stripers continue to show everyone wrong about about "the million hooks in the ocean at once". There not here and we are having about the best marlin fishing in a long time.  

 

In-shore Fishing: With Steve Carson and the Penn University Group down this week it was certain that we would be having a lot more fishing action in-shore, and they weren't disappointed. 

 

Bait Used: Mostly caballito some mackerel too, but captains are preferring the ballyhoo and sardine to look for the tuna. 

 

Highlight of the Week: Tuna fishing was great this past week, as well as striped marlin.
