Temperature: Cold
currents, we hope are the past, water conditions are
starting to get back to normal.
Air Temperature: If can
continue with the good weather as we have had it, we
will be in for a great month.
Fishing Spots and Distance: From
La Rivera to Las Barracas to Los Frailes 20-30 miles out
from this points is where most of our fishing was done
this past week.
Off-shore Fishing: Stripers continue to
offered a very good bite even though we are in July
already. Some blues and some sails, and we should start
seeing a lot more of them as they come in to the Sea of
Cortés. Tuna and dorado
were both present, but as good as last
week.
In-shore
Fishing: With nice concentration of bait in
different areas our in-shore fishing improved, with
great number of rooster fish.
Bait Used: It has been plenty of bait
this past week, and it seems it will continue.
Highlight of the
Week: With less boat than normal for this time
of year, we had a very decent striper week.
