Water
Temperature: With
Summer at full swing our ocean temperature is offering a
little of everything, as we have some areas with cold
currents, but plenty of hot water areas as well.
Air Temperature: We are
feeling the Summer, but is not common to get to a 100,
but it is the humidity that makes it feel like it is.
Still it cools down with ocean breeze as well as during
the evening.
Fishing Spots and Distance: One
nice thing about the East Cape is that you can go North
or you can South, or just plain East. Distances ranging
from 15-35 miles
Off-shore Fishing:
It was a good time for tuna this past week, but if you
are looking for quality, it wasn't there, as most of the
tuna was in the football size. Stripers everywhere, it
just take plain luck to find the one hungry. Blues are
coming.
In-shore
Fishing: Good action all around, with jacks and
roosters, it just take patience to get your price.
Bait Used: Sardine, caballitos and always
good to bring some ballyhoo, no problem here again.
Highlight of the
Week: Good tuna and striper action.
See you next week!!!
