Water
Temperature: I
think this is the week that we will forget about cold
currents for the rest of the season. Nice warm water
almost everywhere.
Air Temperature: It was a
great week weather wise, with the days up to the high
90's and with nice breeze almost everyday to keep the
temperature from rising.
Fishing Spots and Distance: About
the same as most of the year, long run for tuna, and you
want to be among the first two boats to find them, and a
lot closer for other species.
Off-shore Fishing:
Mainly tuna off shore, but even that we are so much into
July , we continue to have excellent stripers around.
Dorado continues to be in pairs and the big ones by
themselves.
In-shore
Fishing: Fishing inshore continues to offer a
lot of action, less roosters and more jacks.
Bait Used: Sardine, caballitos and always
good to bring some ballyhoo, no problem here again.
Highlight of the
Week: Good tuna and striper action.
See you next week!!!
