Water Temperature: It continues to go up, but with so much fish in the water is hard to ask for hotter water.   

 

Air Temperature: I have said it before, but it is always nice to confirm it, this is the best time for fishing and weather combine.    

 

Fishing Spots and Distance: You go North other go South, with so much fish you can't miss them.   

 

Off-shore Fishing: It was mainly stripers this week, they were everywhere, you can say this when the captains who have fished for long time are amazed and talk about 30 to 40 sight of them day. Getting them to bite is a different story, still each boat is getting average of 4-6 hook ups at day. Dorado some scatter all over our bay, tuna not much this past week.  

 

In-shore Fishing: Now we are talking, inshore fishing got back to it feets and with a venganze, great snapper fishing all over, pampano, huge sierra, you name it we have it all.  

 

Bait Used: One reason the stripers aren't baiting as well, has to do with the bait, no much around, mostly sardine, but getting big bait is not always assure. Still with frozen ballyhoo it has been enough to get them to bite.

 

Highlight of the Week: The Spring striper run, not unsual to see them, but this week they were everywhere.
