Water
Temperature: Our ocean
is coming back to normal, and the water temperature
continues to be regular for this time of the year.
Air Temperature: It is hot,
right in our hottest month of the year, but it is the
humidity that makes it feel as it is more.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Our
crew is not going too far, as they are finding good size
tuna right in front of La Rivera. Also striped and blues
can be find about the 20-35 miles.
Off-shore Fishing: Tuna up to 65 lbs
bottom fishing in the "pescaderos" in front of La
Rivera, also dorado can be find underneath things
floating in the water. Blues and striped also slow
trolling close to shore.
In-shore
Fishing: It came back and it came back really
good, with some roosters, amberjacks and jacravelle,
plenty of action inshore.
Bait Used: Mostly caballito some mackerel
too, but captains are preferring the ballyhoo.
Highlight of the
Week: The inshore fishing took a rest last week,
after Harriette, but it came back and it is producing
quite well.
See you next week!!!
