Water Temperature: September continues to offer one of the best conditions to fish. And our water reflects this. Great water with little wind, enough to get the fish jumping.

 

Air Temperature: When we say September is the hottest, it is, but for those who thing you get burn as soon as you step out of the plane, is not the case, our temperature reaches the high 90's almost daily, but the humidity is what makes it feel like it is more. But with the nice breeze and with a very cold margarita you'll live.  

 

Fishing Spots and Distance: Our crew is not going too far, as they are finding good size tuna right in front of La Rivera and in front of Cabo Pulmo. Also striped and blues can be find about the 20-35 miles.    

 

Off-shore Fishing:  Again tuna, small to mid size, are what most guests are going after. Dorados, school size, are also easy to find. Stripers and sails not so much this week. But a couple of wahoo were mix in with the dorado and tuna.

 

In-shore Fishing: Fishing in-shore is best right here in front of the resort. Lady fish and small to medium size roosters.

 

Bait Used: Mostly caballito some mackerel too and sardines,captains are asking what you would prefer to fish for, then they choose the correct bait.

 

Highlight of the Week: This past week our good friends of the BAFT fishing tournament visited us. They have never had such a good fishing trip, that they almost double the points awarded for the tournament for the winners.
