WEEK: April 2nd week
 
David Harden, James Holmes and Mike Leitch from Granite Bay, Ca, went out with Ramon and Teodoro on the 3 Hermanos and made the day with this 6 nice Dorados.
Jeff Koerten from Omaha, NE. Also went out with Ramon and Teodoro on the 3 Hermanos and came back with 4 dorados. 3 Hermanos is doing great on the first 15 days on the water.
Again this week on the board of Honor:  Dave Copeland, John Hausner and Bob Orth from Houston, TX, Burlington, VT and Bermont, CA respectively. They kept going out more days and everytime they came back packed of  fish.

Water Temperature: Everything remains the same, around low 70's, great temperature for the fish around here.

 

Air Temperature: We got some hot days this week, on the 78F, but most of the days were really nice on the low 70's during the day and mid 60's during the night.

 

Fishing Spots and Distance: We are still fishing straight east from here, most of the fish are moving on the 15 to 20 mile range, very good amount of Striped Marlin on this areas and Dorado's all around. Roosterfish were caught by Surgidero area, that's very close to  La Ribera.

 

Off-shore Fishing: Dorado hunting it continues to give very good results, sizes around 20 and 30 lb range. Striped Marlin in much better numbers than last week and very good size.

 

In-shore Fishing: Roosters around 20 to 30 lb have been caught this week. Monster Jacks have been spotted at the Hotel pier.

 

Bait Used: Mackerel is all we've been having the whole week, great for the dorados. Sardines came up this week and we used them on 4 out of 7 days of this week.

 

Highlight of the Week:

 

Dan and Lorie Jansen made 5 roosters and 4 snapper of this week on the fly, what a great day they had with Lance.
