Water
Temperature:Water
conditions are on their highest of the year, fishing is
being great due to water temperature. 87 F have been the
average the last two weeks.
Air Temperature:
Beside the hurricane that pass by,
weather is better than any September. Beautiful
mornings, rounding the 90 F, but getting to 100 F during
the day.
Fishing Spots and Distance: You
wont believe how close we've been fishing the last two
weeks, about 200 m out of the Lighthouse, about 10 to 15
miles south of the Hotel, lots of dorados, tuna, snapper
and more in that area.
Off-shore Fishing: Dorado
action explode after the hurricane as usual. They are
everywhere, up to 30Lb. Tuna on the 40Lb range in
different spots but all around the Lighthouse.
In-shore
Fishing:
Inshore fishing became difficult this last two weeks as the water got to green.
But there still some roosters in the area. Not many people is targeting inshore
as Dorado are taking most of the attraction.
Bait Used: Mostly
Sardines, Caballito and Ballyhoo. We had Mackarel but
not constant.
Highlight of the
Week: Finally the Squids area here!!!!
Same spot than last three years. And as usual they are
great for tuna fishing.
See you next week!!!
Saludos from your second
home in paradise!
