Water
Temperature: Conditions on the ocean are very
stable. Temperature has remain on the low 80īs range,
cooling up some days. Warmer water is flowing constantly on
the East Cape area.
AAir
Temperature: It got warmer this week, we hit the
90īs most of the days, but still its really nice during the
night time.
Fishing Spots and Distance:
Fish was everywhere this week. We had boats fishing the
south area around Los Frailes, 10 miles away from shore and
founding lots of Striped Marlin plus lots of tuna schools.
Then fishing the north side about 20 miles away from the
hotel, between Punta Pescadero and Cerralvo Island, tuna and
dorado were found in good amounts.
Off-shore Fishing: Dorado
slowed down this week, but sizewise got better, beautiful
dorados were caught this week. Tuna are hot right now, most
of them on the 15 lb range, but we were able to catch 8 to
10 per boat.
In-shore Fishing:
Roosterfishing action remains constant. Lots of them on La
Ribera area. Jack Crevalle around 40 lb range on the El
Cardonal area.
Bait Used: Sardines during
the whole week. Caballito, Mullets and Ballyhoo most of the
days.
Highlight of the Week:
Awesome fishing for the Wall-2-Wall
Tournament. Congratulations to all the winners.
See
you next week!!!
Saludos
From your Second home in paradise!
