Water Temperature: 71-degree
average at the beginning of the week, easing upward to
72-degrees the last three days. The water shake a
little this week, but fishable
.
Air Temperature:
Mid-70s during the day; Mid-60s at
night. Some wind this week, few clouds with the sun shining all week, all day
long.
Fishing Spots and Distance: Same
as last week lots of Dorado everywhere, but we had two
days without fishing because of the wind. We were
fishing in a 20 mile range. Heading East all the time.
Off-shore Fishing: Tons
of dorado, less Marlins this week, they must well-fed
after all those big schools of small squids. But dorado
keeps dominating.
IIn-shore Fishing:
Small roosters and sierra mackerel dominate. La Ribera
area had good numbers of scrappy roosters during the
week, and up north Punta Perico had some Bigtooth
Snapper.
Bait Used: Mackerel
and sardines are available. Sardine size is kind of
small, but acceptable. Plenty of mackerel to go around.
Highlight of the Week:
Juan
Perales and Dennis Stone had 1 Striped Marlin R and 15 Dorado in 2 days fishing
with Capt Chayo on the Dusty BII.
See you next week!!!
Saludos from your second
home in paradise
