Water Temperature:
Again a cold water current came in at the
beginning of the week and the fish slow down
during the first 3 days, but after that
warmer water came in changing everything in
the area.
Air Temperature: Outside the
water, everything remains the same, we keep
and average of 84F on daytime, and 76F at
night. The whole week around noon we had our
regular South East breeze, taking away the
heat.
Fishing Spots and Distance:
We are fishing around the 20 mile range.
Mostly Lighthouse area or Punta Pescadero.
Off-shore Fishing: Many
striped marlin have been spotted, but no to
interested on the lures or bait. We've
landed some on live bait. Dorado we
difficult at the beginning of the week, but
everything change since the warmer came in,
lots of action around the pieces of wood
founded by our fleet.
In-shore Fishing:
Roosterfishing was as how its been in the
past 5 weeks. Better than ever! There's a
lot of action all along the coast. Cabrillas
and snappers are also caught in good
numbers.
Bait Used: The weather
conditions are helping to keep schools of
baits in the area: Sardines, Mackerel,
Caballito, Mullet and Rayadillo. You can
find Carnaderos (bait guys) with all kind of
bait for sale.
Highlight of the Week:
Roosterfishing
action continues unbelievable. If you've
never caught one before, this is the time to
come and get one.
See you next
week!!
Saludos from
you second home in paradise!!!
