Water Temperature: Temperatures are decreasing slowly, but East Cape continues to give great fishing action. Bait fish has not been affected, and the fisheries are intact.


Air Temperature: Better than ever! No hot at all. Even the guys already start to take their jackets out in the mornings. Normally before going out we round the 70´s and then during daytime we have a enjoyable 85F.

Fishing Spots and Distance: An average of 20 miles away of the Hotel is where the fleet is being fishing lately. Lighthouse area, Los Frailes and Cabo Pulmo are the most preferred locations.

Off-shore Fishing: Dorado action continues unbelievable, after the storms the bite has kept going and going everyday. Lots of dorado school around the East Cape. Sailfish also bite very well during the week. Tuna slowed down but they still in the area.


In-shore Fishing: Sierras are here, and roosterfish keep biting very well. But inshore fishing has been complicated.

Bait Used: We´ve been using sardines and caballito mostly.

 
Highlight of the Week:

 

Amazing tunas caught by crew of Dusty BIII with Capt. Alex Castro and his brother Carlos Castro, who caught 4 tunas this week rounding the 100LB.
