WEEK: November 3rd week
Our neighbors Cliff Holkiestad and Herb Allen with a great day on board of Vagabundo with Capt. Rosario Cota. 10Yellowfin tuna and 4 dorado
2nd Day fishing with Capt. Rosario Cota and Herb Allen brought another bunch of Tunas.
Craig Rogers from Glendale, CA, went out on our charters down in San Jose del Cabo and landed this 80Lb yellowfin tuna.
Buzz and Mary Fedorka found a secret spot and caught 4 nice Cabrilla.
The Hawkins completed a great fishing week getting over 20 yellowfin tuna in the week.
Mr. Clare Rayner is real proof of success. He made a wonderful week with Capt. Felipe Ruiz on the Yanet.

Water Temperature: Temperatures have being constant during the week, around the 80F, bait fish have not been affected yet, lots of sardine and caballito, and the fishery keeps enjoying the cool water.


Air Temperature: Winter is about to get here, of course winter here is waking up with 70F, and have 80F at noon, but that means jackets for the locals.

Fishing Spots and Distance: We´ve been fishing mostly south on Las Destiladeras Banks and Gordo Banks, that´s about 35 mi south from the Hotel, also La Ribera have given some dorado and small tunas.

Off-shore Fishing: Dorado, Tuna and Wahoo action on its best right now. Many very good size yellowfin Tuna and wahoo around the 50Lb.


In-shore Fishing: Sierra fishing has started and increasing everyday. Some roosters right infront of the hotel.

Bait Used: We´ve been using sardines and caballito mostly.

 
Highlight of the Week:

 

Capt. Rosario Cota on the Vagabundo took our neighbor Herb Allen and brought in a nice 70Lb Yellowfin Tuna.
