Each year at Hotel Buenavista Beach Resort sees an array of events and promotions designed to provide our guests with even greater enjoyment of our resort and its many activities -- whether it’s celebrating the month (September) of Mexican patriotism, participating in a fun-filled and prize-rich fishing tournament (like The East Cape Offshore Bisbee's Tournament), enjoying a Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s holiday guest package or taking advantage of our November-December free-nights specials.
Check our listings below of events and promotions to see which of these best fit your interests, budget, travel schedule and vacation plans

Every spring for the last 14 years, a spirited and gutsy band of aspiring Baja actors has assembled on the East Cape under the tutelage of courageous directors and a multi-talented crew to amuse and delight audiences with Shakespearean tales. Last year was a success so we are happy to have them again this year. Presenting an original comedy, Robin Hood, or A Funny Thing Happened on My Way through Stratford Forest.
We will have a special “overnight” package available for folks coming from Todos Santos, La Paz or Los Cabos. Just $149.00 a night buys you (double occupancy) a lovely garden dinner for two before the show and breakfast.
Enjoy Easter at Hotel Buenavista Beach Resort and experience a tranquil week, where families kick back by the pool or in one of our cabanas on the beach and enjoy family, Spring Break and the Easter holiday
The East Cape Sportfishing Club repeats this successful event again this year. Members of the Club invite local children from the community to experience a great day on the water. Some of the local captains take this opportunity to take their own children or neighbors kids out to experience the thrill of what it’s like to compete in events. Keeping the tradition of fishing in the community, it’s both fun and educational!
The state sponsored Mountain Bike Championship comes to the East Cape this year. The race consists of a 4 1/2-mile circuit that stretches through the surrounding hills. It’s a great family event and always fun to watch!
